Pilates Mat Classes

Start with Pilates Level I (beginning level). Learn the fundamental Pilates principles and core movements. Learn modifications for neck, back, shoulder or other joint trouble. Class moves slow enough to facilitate learning for everyone. Learning the correct technique takes time. Give yourself a minimum of a few months to a year to stay in Level I. We recommend doing the mat class twice a week to make progress. 

Starting Jan 1 we'll offer a series of 2 introductory Pilates Mat classes that will be required before starting the Level I. You'll learn terminology, breath, neutral spine and other basics that will be assumed you know before starting Level I. The introductory classes will help you feel more comfortable and confident entering an ongoing class.

Get instructor approval to attend Pilates Mat Level II. Level II assumes you've mastered the Pilates principles of spinal articulation, core control, differentiation, precision, focus, breath, and flow.
