Fitness Classes in Minneapolis: Class Schedule


Bars, Sculpt, and Pilates Mat classes are specialty classes included in the ALL CLASSES option.

Any class with fewer than 5 people pre-registered 4 hours in advance or by 4 pm the day before for morning classes is subject to be canceled.

$12 no-show fee applies to any and all classes pre-registered and not canceled 4 hours in advance or by 4 pm the day before for morning classes.

Specialty Classes:

Pilates Mat: Start with the intro series (offered various times throughout the year). Progress to either level I mat or the multi-level mat classes.You'll be given special options if you're just starting out, or more advanced options if you're experienced and strong.

Behind Bars: Change the shape of your body with this intense toning class. You'll use the ballet bar, the floor, and small weights to tone hips, thighs, abs and arms. No shoes. All levels.

Sculpt: Build and tone a beautiful body using small hand weights combined with yoga poses and Pilates core exercises. All levels. Bare feet, yoga mat and plenty of water needed.

Group Fitness Classes

BODYJAM: A dance/cardio workout. Dance combinations MTV style. So fun, you won't even realize you're working out! Learn a choreographed sequence. There is impact/jumping and twisting. Shoes.

BODYPUMP: Strength training using the barbell and motivating music. No fancy steps. It's easy to learn and it's FUN. Not a great option for those with knee trouble. Shoes.

Step Fusion: Get cardio and strength all in one class. Very easy to follow step intervals alternating with hand weights. Lots of sweating and calorie burning while developing beautiful muscle tone. End the class with seat lifting barre work and a stretch. Excellent class for both new exercisers and the highly conditioned. Shoes.

BodyShaping: Tone and reshape your entire body using hand weights and a variety of strength training exercises and upbeat music. Class moves quickly with minimal rest to maximize the fat burning effect. All levels. Shoes.

Nia: Dance/cardio/mind/body workout incorporating many different styles of movement including martial arts. Not difficult choreography. Good for those with joint problems. No jumping/pounding. No shoes.

BODYSTEP: A fun, high energy step aerobics, high impact cardio class. Athletic style. Not dancy. Not a good class for beginning exercisers. Shoes with GOOD cushioning.

Iyengar Yoga: A series of yoga stretches with breathing to help you wind down from the day and relax your mind. All levels welcome.

Restorative Stretch: Deep, relaxing stretch class based on yoga. You'll use straps and other props to help you get into the proper positions. Great class to de-stress...you'll love the way your body feels after this class.

Zumba: Latin, hip hop dance fusion class. Easy to learn and loads of fun. Wear shoes.
